Above: SCS's best showing in the Sojourner Truth Girl's Chess Tournament, Jan. 11, 2003, was in the Second Grade Division. Eighteen girl's competed & our four players took the top prizes. Rani Shiao, Tiffanie Lo and Hannah Rubin (L to R) all won four games out of five and were declared co-champions (they lost only to each other). Ivy Pham was only 1/2 point behind (3.5).
