NOTE: WEIBEL PARENTS VOTED NOT TO ATTEND THE CALCHESS STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS ORGANIZED BY DR. SALMAN AZHAR IN 2011, 2012 AND 2013. IN 2014 DR. KIRSHNER DECIDED TO RETURN WEIBEL TO STATE COMPETITION SINCE DR. AZHAR WAS NO LONGER ORGANIZING THE EVENT. *Weibel did not compete at the so-called official CalChess States this year. The CalChess Board originally pulled the event from the organizer and when the organizer, their treasurer, withheld their treasury they agreed to allow him to have the championship. Only 300 plus players showed to those States. The real competition, on the same day, was at the CalNorth Youth Regionals with almost 1000 players.
